Graphic Design V

DSN1545 -- In order to be prepared for fieldwork and eventual employment students concentrate on design solutions, creating individual, unique self-promotional projects. All of the design potential and skills learned, accumulate in creating these unusual pieces (teasers, 3D pop-ups and packages, 2D print) that will help them "stand out in the crowd" and attract attention and recognition to secure that first step towards eventual employment in the world of graphic design, web publication and multimedia. Additional client contract work will round out the semester. Students gain an understanding of design consistency, promotion and presentation in addition to creating several bold and unusual portfolio pieces.
