CG1 — Let's take some time in our first class to get acquainted. We'll meet each other and start to get to know the Mac that's sitting in front of you. The link leads to a page of video tutorials for the Mac. Take a gander at a few. There will eventually be a quiz on some of this content. There's something there for everyone from the novice to the experienced Mac user.
This site was created by Adobe to help designers create colour schemes. This is going to be an indespensable tool for you. You'll need an Adobe ID. Don't worry, it's free. Once you're there, you can create/download/upload colour schemes. They load into all the Adobe CS5 apps. It's also a whicked example of an application in a browser.
With the release of CS5, Adobe has really pumped up their product tutorial. They got some help from Linda.com along the way. If you want to learn how to use Creative Suite version 3, well, just come to class. If you want to push it even further, visit Adobe's Video Workshop. Here you can find hundreds of short video tutorials presented in a slick Flash-based interface. It ain't no boob tube.

You need to download this. Adobe never ceases to impress me. They've gone and crafter this amazing application which lists every keyboard shortcut for every one of their applications. You can find them all in this one compact application. Nifty.

The service has no email signup and no "accounts." Each drop is private, and only as accessible as you choose to deliberately make it. Create multiple drops, add any type of media, and share or subscribe as you want. To make a drop just click the big red button that says 'drop it'.
